According to the balanced chemical equation:
C4H10O(l)+6O2(g)→4CO2(g)+5H2O(l)
From the equation, it is observed that 1 mole of butan-1-ol produces 4 moles of carbon dioxide. Therefore, if 2 moles of butan-1-ol are burnt in excess oxygen:
