Answer
When lymph nodes are removed, the normal drainage of lymphatic fluid can be disrupted, leading to a condition known as lymphedema. This accumulation of tissue fluid in the arm can lead to the presence of leucocytes (white blood cells). These cells may enter the fluid as part of the immune response, although the overall immune function may be impaired in the affected area due to the removal of lymph nodes.
