Benign tumours do not invade neighbouring tissues or spread throughout the body, whereas malignant tumours can invade nearby tissues and metastasize to other areas.
Malignant tumours are made of cancer cells that can grow uncontrollably and lead to more significant health risks than benign tumours, which usually grow slowly and might not pose immediate threats.
