Answer
Radon gas is produced from the decay of uranium found in rocks and soil. In some areas, the geological composition may contain less granite or rocks that are rich in uranium, leading to lower levels of radon gas. For instance, regions with limestone or less radioactive materials tend to have negligible radon presence, while areas like Cornwall or Aberdeen with more granite tend to have higher radon levels.
