After the original sin of Adam and Eve, which brought evil into the world, God offered a path to salvation.

To achieve this salvation, God initiated a process:

1. Jesus's Sacrifice: God gave His only Son, Jesus, who was sinless, to save humanity. During Jesus's crucifixion, the sins of the world were placed upon Him.
2. Reconciliation: Jesus's death atoned for human sin, creating reconciliation between God and humanity. This act of sacrifice is seen as a profound expression of God's love and forgiveness.

Ways to Achieve Salvation

• Salvation through Law: Some Christians believe that salvation can be attained by following God's teachings and performing good deeds that please Him. Acts such as caring for the less fortunate or giving to charity exemplify this approach.
• Salvation through Grace: Grace refers to God's unconditional love for all people. According to this belief, salvation does not need to be earned but can be achieved by faith in God and Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:8 states**, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith … it is the gift of God."**
• Salvation through Spirit: The Holy Spirit assists Christians in following God's teachings. God acknowledges human imperfection and expects repentance. Acts 20:21 highlights this belief: despite sinning, humans can seek forgiveness and strive to make amends by turning to God in faith.
