Meadaracht

• Is í an tsaorvéarsaíocht atá mar mheadaracht an dáin.
  • Free verse is the metre in the poem.
• Tugann sé seo saoirse don fhile a cuid a rá.
  • It gives the poet freedom to say what she wishes.

• Cé nach bhfuil aon rialacha ann, tá cúpla sampla dé rím dheiridh in áiteanna éagsúla sa dán, mar shampla airní...noiníní/ shúile...chéile.
  • Even though there are no rules, there a few examples of end rhyme in some parts of the poem, for example…. airní...noiníní/ shúile...chéile.

• Tá fuaim cheolmhar, álainn ag an dán.
  • The poem has a beautiful, musical sound.
