Narrows them

Restricts air from reaching alveoli

Noisy, wheezing breathing

Breathlessness

Inhaling allergens (e.g. pollen, dust)

Pollen, dust

Narrow & linings become inflamed

Reduced airflow to and from lungs

Avoid exposure to identified allergen

Steroids

Reduce inflammation & widen bronchioles

Through inhalers
