Le Futur Proche
Le futur proche is used to talk about actions in the near future.
It corresponds to the English structure going to + infinitive, and emphasises that there is already an intention behind the action.

Aller (Present Tense)

| Nous allons | We go / We are going |

Examples:
- Je vais appeler ma mère tout de suite. (I am going to call my mother right away.)
- Ils vont partir dans quelques minutes. (They are going to leave in a few minutes.)
- Nous allons manger maintenant. (We are going to eat now.)
- Elle va rentrer à la maison bientôt. (She is going to come home soon.)
- Je vais parler à mon professeur. (I am going to speak to my teacher.)
- Tu vas finir tes devoirs ce soir. (You are going to finish your homework tonight.)
- Il va prendre le bus pour aller au travail. (He is going to take the bus to work.)
- Nous allons regarder un film ce soir. (We are going to watch a movie tonight.)
- Vous allez manger au restaurant demain. (You are going to eat at the restaurant tomorrow.)
- Je vais faire mes devoirs après l'école. (I am going to do my homework after school.)
- Elle va sortir avec ses amis ce week-end. (She is going to go out with her friends this weekend.)
