Shows how often each value appears in a dataset

The different values being measured

How many times each value appears

Value that appears most frequently in the distribution

Look for the value with the highest frequency

The value from the data, not the frequency number

Middle value when data is arranged in order

$\frac{1}{2}(n + 1)$ where $n$ is total frequency

Average value, considering how often each value appears

$\frac{\Sigma fx}{\Sigma f}$

Sum of (frequency × variable) for each value

Sum of all frequencies
