No absolute truth; all relative to time, space & culture

Mainstream sociology saturated with male dominance

Hierarchical & controlling; should be equal conversations

Aim to falsify theories (not prove); use deductive reasoning

More control over variables, easier to predict

Art not science; humans react with meaning, unpredictable
