Example Question for Practice
Question 8 Prompt
"Write a letter to your local council arguing for the creation of more green spaces in your area. Explain the benefits of parks and natural areas for residents and the environment."
Example Answer (Introduction):
"Dear Council Members,
I am writing to express my strong support for the creation of more green spaces in our community. Our town has limited areas where residents can enjoy nature, exercise, and unwind, and adding more parks would bring substantial benefits to both our health and the local environment. With rising pollution and stress levels, we urgently need natural spaces to improve our quality of life."
Question 9 Prompt
"Write an article for a school magazine explaining why teenagers should spend more time outdoors. Discuss the physical, mental, and social benefits of outdoor activities."
Example Answer (Introduction):
"Why Teens Should Embrace the Outdoors
In today's digital age, teenagers are spending more time glued to screens and less time outdoors. While technology has its perks, the benefits of outdoor activities cannot be overstated. Spending time outside not only improves physical health but also boosts mental well-being and strengthens social connections. It's time for us to rediscover the great outdoors and reap the rewards it offers."
