- Cost: Compare prices and models.

- Energy efficiency: Choose A-rated for efficiency and cost savings.
- Size: Ensure the appliance fits the intended space.
- Special features: Avoid unnecessary features if you won't use them.
- Guarantee and after-sales service: Ensure support is available.

Cookers
Features of Modern Cookers:
- Dual grills/rings: Use only the sections needed to save energy.
- Steam ovens: Retain food moisture and cook efficiently.
- Induction hobs: Heat quickly and safely.
- Self-cleaning ovens: Burn off residue for easy cleaning.
- Timers: Automate cooking start/stop times.
Care and Cleaning:
