Clothes can either be dried naturally or using a tumble drier.
Advantages of Tumble Drying
- Quick and convenient.
- Keeps towels soft and fluffy.
- Ideal for drying clothes in poor weather.
Disadvantages of Tumble Drying
- Uses a lot of energy, which is expensive.
- Some fabrics shrink (e.g., wool) or lose colour.
- Over-drying can cause fabric damage (e.g., synthetic fabrics turn grey).
- Contributes to environmental impact due to high energy use.
