Rearranging an equation to make a different variable the subject
A variable by itself on one side of the equation
Remove brackets, fractions, or square roots
Move all terms with wanted variable to LHS
Left-Hand Side where you want your variable
Factor out the variable if necessary
Divide both sides to isolate the variable
Reverse the operation (addition becomes subtraction)
Multiply every term on both sides
Square every term on both sides of the equation
y=6−3x2y = 6 - \frac{3x}{2}y=6−23x
