Is é dínit an duine daonna i gcás bróin príomhthéama an dáin seo.	The dignity of the human being in grief is the main theme of this poem.
Déanann an file cur síos ar bheirt bhan i mbun bróin a shiúlann leo féin go ciúin, le dínit agus misneach, amach ó slua callánach.	The poet describes two grieving women walking away quietly, with dignity and courage, from a noisy crowd.
Seasann na mná seo do thost na bróine – mothúchán atá chomh láidir sin nach dteastaíonn focail uaidh.	These women represent the silence of grief – a feeling so strong that it needs no words.

Deirtear sa dán nach ndúirt siad focal ar bith, rud a léiríonn a neart inmheánach ciúin.	It is said in the poem that they didn't say a single word, which reflects their quiet inner strength.
Léiríonn sé freisin go bhfuil neart agus grásta ag baint leis an gcaoi a phléanann daoine leis an mbrón	It also shows that there is strength and grace in how people deal with grief privately.
Tá codarsnacht láidir ann idir na mná agus an slua mór, torannach:	There is a strong contrast between the women and the large, noisy crowd:

Seasann an dínit go ciúin atá acu i lár an torainn mar léiriú ar fhíormhisneach.	Their quiet dignity amid the noise stands as a symbol of true courage.
Tá téama meas don bhrón phríobháideach le sonrú freisin — ní léiríonn na mná mothúcháin go poiblí, ach tá meas ag an bhfile orthu dá bharr.	The theme of respect for private grief is also clear — the women don't express their feelings publicly, but the poet respects them all the more for it.
Tríd an dán, tugtar le fios gur fiú meas a bheith agat ar dhaoine a shiúlann go ciúin, go neamhspleách, le brón agus dínit.	Throughout the poem, we are reminded that people who walk quietly and independently with grief deserve our respect.
