Purpose of the imperative mood

To give commands, instructions, or make requests

When to use tú commands

With friends, family, children (informal singular)

When to use vosotros commands

With groups of friends/family (informal plural - Spain)

How to form positive tú commands

Use the third person singular (él/ella) form

How to form positive vosotros commands

Remove final 'r' from infinitive and add 'd'

How to form negative tú commands

Use second person singular present subjunctive
