$\sin \theta$, $\cos \theta$, $\tan \theta$

Longest side, opposite the right angle

Side opposite to angle $\theta$

Side next to $\theta$, not hypotenuse

$\sin \theta = \frac{o}{h}$

$\cos \theta = \frac{a}{h}$

$\tan \theta = \frac{o}{a}$

Sine=Opp/Hyp, Cosine=Adj/Hyp, Tangent=Opp/Adj

Remain constant regardless of triangle size

$h^2 = a^2 + o^2$
