Compares two quantities with different units

Rates: different units; Ratios: same units

First quantity per one unit of second quantity

Both numerator and denominator to new units

Calculate value for single unit first, then multiply

Find one unit (divide); multiply by needed units

Distance travelled compared to time taken

$S = \frac{D}{T}$

$T = \frac{D}{S}$

$D = S \times T$
