Surveying technique to map polygon-shaped land from central point

Length of radial lines & angles between them at central point

Origin - central reference point for all measurements

Lines from central point to corners of polygon

In centre, on boundary, or outside the land area

Divide into triangles, calculate each area, then add together

$A = \frac{1}{2} \times a \times b \times \sin C$

$c^2 = a^2 + b^2 - 2ab \cos C$

Clockwise from north, marked with T

Subtract from 360° to get angle anticlockwise from north
