Compares amounts of same type in specific order

As ratio, fraction, decimal, percentage

Multiply or divide both amounts by same number

Multiply both sides by LCD

Multiply by power of 10, then divide by HCF

Convert to common denominator, use numerators

Calculate total number of parts

Divide quantity by total parts for value of 1 part

Multiply each ratio amount by value of one part

Check by adding parts - should equal original
