$ax^2 + bx + c = 0$ where $a \neq 0$

If $a = 0$, equation becomes linear, not quadratic

Quadratic where coefficient of $x^2$ equals 1

Quadratic where coefficient of $x^2$ does not equal 1

If $ab = 0$, then $a = 0$ or $b = 0$

Factorisation, completing the square, quadratic formula

Multiply to give $c$ and add to give $b$

Divide $x$ coefficient by 2, then square the result

$x = \frac{-b \pm \sqrt{b^2 - 4ac}}{2a}$

Two solutions: one using addition, one using subtraction
