Rule mapping each point to exactly one new point

Point $(x,y)$ maps to $(x+2,y+4)$

$(x,y) \to (x+h,y+k)$

Same shape; all points move same distance & direction

$x - h$

$x + h$

$y = f(x) + k$

$y = f(x) - k$

$y - k = f(x - h)$

Express original coords in terms of new, then substitute
