- Base of the Pyramid:
- Foods you should eat most often, like fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.
- Middle Levels:
- Foods to eat in moderation, like dairy, protein, and oils.
- Top of the Pyramid:
- Foods high in fat, sugar, and salt (e.g., sweets and crisps) should be eaten sparingly.
