A running total of frequencies as you move through each group

Total frequency accumulated so far, not individual frequencies

Each value must be larger than the previous one

Highest value (upper boundary) from each class interval

Draw a smooth curve, never straight lines

$\frac{1}{2} \times \text{total frequency}$

$\frac{1}{4} \times \text{total frequency}$

$\frac{3}{4} \times \text{total frequency}$

$\text{Upper quartile} - \text{Lower quartile}$

The spread of the middle 50% of the data

Go up vertically to curve, then read across horizontally

Go across horizontally to curve, then read down vertically
