Quantitative survey of a named plant using percentage frequency method

1. Throw quadrat randomly: throw a pencil over your shoulder and place quadrat where pencil lands. The sample must be random to prevent bias.

2. If a particular plant e.g. dandelion appears in the quadrat, give a "tick" to the table. Do not count the number of dandelions. Simply mark their presence or absence.

3. Repeat experiment 10 times in order to get repeatable data and obtain an average

4. Complete calculation

5. Present results in table and graph format
