Quantitative survey of a named plant using percentage frequency method

Throw quadrat randomly: throw a pencil over your shoulder and place quadrat where pencil lands. The sample must be random to prevent bias.

If a particular plant e.g. dandelion appears in the quadrat, give a "tick" to the table. Do not count the number of dandelions. Simply mark their presence or absence.

Repeat experiment 10 times in order to get repeatable data and obtain an average
