Same shape, different sizes; can be rotated/reflected

They maintain their proportions

All corresponding angles must be equal

All corresponding sides must be proportional (same ratio)

Equal angles AND proportional sides (both required)

How much bigger or smaller one shape is than another

Multiply corresponding known side by scale factor

Divide by the scale factor
